Chrome extension V1

Analyze the text you are reading without leaving the page.

Select a passage on a webpage or paste text into the Critical Analysis side panel. Review a structured assessment of influence, framing, bias, agenda, argument strength, manipulation techniques, and bot-related indicators.

How it works

From selected text to structured analysis in three steps.

The extension stays in the browser side panel so the source remains visible while you review the result.

01

Choose the text

Highlight a passage on a webpage. For text from another source, open the side panel and paste it into the analysis box.

02

Start the analysis

Use the “Analyze with Critical Analysis” right-click action or press Analyze after pasting text into the panel.

03

Review the result

Read the score, verdict, classification labels, and expandable breakdown without navigating away from the page.

What V1 shows

A focused result for the passage you selected.

The output is an AI-generated assessment to support critical reading. It is not proof of an author's intent or a substitute for checking underlying facts and sources.

Influence score and verdict

A continuum score and concise assessment summarize how the passage appears to inform, frame, influence, manipulate, or fabricate.

Bias, agenda, and bot probability

Classification labels provide a compact view of degree of bias, agenda type, and bot-related probability when present.

Argument strength

An expandable breakdown evaluates the strength and structure of the argument presented in the selected text.

Mind traps and confidence

The result can identify mind traps, unsupported confidence, and herd-mentality pressure in the passage.

Manipulation techniques

The analysis describes rhetorical or persuasive techniques detected in the text and explains how they may shape interpretation.

Bot evidence and platform context

Where relevant, the result includes bot-related indicators and context about how the content may function on its platform.

Focused V1

Deliberate analysis, not background monitoring.

The first extension release is intentionally narrow so the workflow is understandable, reviewable, and controlled by the user.

No selected-page URL or title collectionThe right-click flow passes the selected text itself, not the page address or browser-tab title.
No URL, image, or screenshot analysis in V1The approval-focused release supports selected text and pasted text.
No trend, entity, publishing, or export workflow in V1Those broader platform concepts are outside the first Chrome extension release.
